The combination of stay cables with the traditional suspension system enables a reduction of the construction time.

The anchoring of the stay cables on the inclined outriggers enlarges the width of the system and enhances the dynamic behaviour. The width of the bridge deck doesn't need any widening.

The outriggers are tied back to the main tower and can be constructed by segmental cantilevering.
